No Fear Shakespeare
Jan 10-March 14
Who said Shakespeare can’t be fun? Spend your Wednesdays with Shakespeare! This class will focus on fun Shakespeare-related projects, crafts and theatre games. We will explore more text and continue learning to "translate" Shakespeare, as well as what it was like to live in Elizabethan times. This class is open to those who took our first Shakespeare class, to those who didn’t get a chance to take the class and to those who want to have FUN!
Jan 8-March 12
Alex Frisch will be sharing her talents with The Actors Garden once again! This class is a great one for those who would like to sink their teeth into a character without fully committing to a full-scale production. This course will develop skills in characterization and working with partners. In this class, actors will not only work on scripted scenes but will also work on improvisation exercises that focus on scene work. Actors will perform their rehearsed scenes at the end of our ten weeks in a showcase for invited audiences.
