The Seedlings program is ALL about FUN! 

Our philosophy is that primary focus for younger children be that they become comfortable with simply getting up among friends and expressing themselves.  Through innovative use of story theatre music, children emerge from the seedling age with a confidence in performing and a respect for theatre and other performers.

Our Offerings for Winter 2012

Tiny Tuneful Tales
Ages 3-5                                                                                                     Mondays 12:15PM-1:00PM
Class runs from January 16-March 19                                             Price 120.00        

This class is a miniature version of our tuneful tales class offered on Saturdays.  This program will focus on telling and acting out stories through song, creative movement, rhythms and dance. This class will encourage students to engage their imaginations and sense of dramatic play as they learn about music and theatre. This class will also build skills in listening, story-telling, body awareness, and creative expression.

Story Fun
Ages 3-5                                                                                                 Wednesdays 12:30PM-1:15PM                                                                                                  Class runs from January 18-March21                                           Price: 120.00

This class will encourage students to engage their imaginations and sense of dramatic play as they learn about theatre. This class will also build skills in listening, story-telling, body awareness, and creative expression.

Theatre Fun
Ages 4-6                                                                                                    Fridays 12:45PM-1:30PM
Class runs from January 20-March 23                                             Price: 120.00           

Even the youngest of students can get in on the fun! Theater games and storytelling exercises will help students gain confidence on the stage. We will work with props and music and familiar stories to add to the enjoyment.

With fun and exciting theatre games, students will learn the basics of creative dramatics as they are introduced to the wonderful world of theater. Through engaging in the art of story theatre students will get a chance to create a new character each week.
